The Shakespeare Forum is currently seeking local talent in New York City for "Becoming Hamlet" directed by Sybille Bruun.

​​

"Becoming Hamlet" is an innovative immersive presentation of Hamlet where the audience plays an active role in the narrative. A fresh approach to being on stage will be explored, prioritizing authenticity, responsiveness, and connection.

​

The play will rehearse for three weeks in May; workshop production in June 4, 5, and 6.

​

Pay is a $500 stipend. 

​

Auditions will be held by appointment on Monday, March 9th from 9am - 5pm at El Barrio's Artspace PS109 (215 East 99th Street).

​

Callbacks will be on Thursday, March 12th from 9am-5pm. 

​
