At The Shakespeare Forum, we make a home for actors, directors and lovers of Shakespeare to play, share, develop, and flourish. We believe in reaching out and building community through education, outreach and performance with an emphasis on providing low-cost, high-quality classes, workshops and productions. We foster a community of artists dedicated to helping each other thrive while breaking the habits of isolationism which so often prevail in our artistic community. We know that together we can be a powerful force, and The Shakespeare Forum is dedicated to providing services to all members of our New York community. We feel that financial constraints should not prohibit members from gaining the tools and confidence to make their way in New York, both as conscious artists and as parts of a greater artistic alliance.
